A sanctuary in the city

The room included free parking. A detail I greatly appreciated, it simplified our travel arrangements. We found secure cycle storage was available in the back garden. A thoughtful addition for cyclists. The guest house felt so very warm, and it was quite inviting. Our room, a lovely space, featured good furnishings.
The bathroom size felt slightly compact. THIS was the only minor inconvenience.

The room size was spacious. The host was accommodating, which helped a lot! I found the location great. I appreciated the early check-in option. It was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious, with a full English fry-up included! Supermarkets and takeaways are conveniently nearby.
The room window was held open with a piece of timber, and it took effort to close the heavy sash.

Excellent Stay Near Hadrian's Wall

The beds were comfortable. The cleanliness was amazing. I found the location convenient for visiting both the city and Hadrian's Wall. The breakfast was great (especially the perfectly cooked items!).
I noticed there was minimal supply of toiletries in the shower, such as hand soap.
